Luca the keen Collie
Feeling a bit low so indulged myself by doing a pair of 'recently deceased' portraits. Luca was an 11 year old border collie who belonged to my brother and his wife, he had been suffering terribly with joint problems and was recently put down. A great character, destroyer of toys, escape artist, and all round entertainer.

ah a lovable pup. I'm sure he will be greatly missed. You've given him a lot of character, he looks ready to play. Love his eyes and lolling tongue.
ReplyDeleteI think he always was a pup at heart, he never had to work as most collies do so all his energy (and collies have sooo much energy)went into play. when the reference pics for these were taken he was 10 years old would you believe!
